EuSSAB Autumn Webinar & Election of Vice Representative |
The EuSSAB autumn webinar 2021 is scheduled for Wednesday, 22 September 2021. It will replace the regular EuSSAB annual meeting which normally was scheduled in the course of the EUROSPINE Annual Meeting. The EuSSAB Committee is currently busy working on the agenda for this webinar, and as usual, all national EuSSAB representatives are invited to bring up topics of interest!
We hope to see as many national EuSSAB representatives as possible in this webinar, as the will also have to elect a new EuSSAB Vice Representative to follow Alberto Ulloa and Artem Gushcha! The EuSSAB Representatives are active members of the EuSSAB Committee, who also take part in regular committee meetings!
As usual a summary of the meeting and recordings of all presenations will be shared with all associate members afterwards.

EUROSPINE Annual Report 2020 |
Due to the pandemic, the past year was the most challenging year EUROSPINE has ever faced. Proactive management on the part of the ExCom, committee members and staff has helped EUROSPINE avert a crisis, and continue to advance important projects, including the digitalisation of educational events and our virtual annual meeting. And we continued to make progress in important projects such as Spine Tango, the EUROSPINE Surgical Spine Centres of Excellence (SSCoE) and Patient Line. In November 2020, EUROSPINE and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) entered into a cooperation agreement to pursue the creation of a new spine journal: Brain and Spine!

EUROSPINE Diploma in Interprofessional Spine Care |
Tim Pigott is a spine surgeon in the UK. He says that “one of the most difficult issues in spinal practice is the selection of patients for surgical treatment, and the subsequent management of the non-surgical patient.” This is where EDISC can help you! EUROSPINE’s educational initiative will help “provide you with these skills and give you confidence in advising them about non- surgical treatment options.” Tim has taken part in the first course and recommends it to all spine surgeons.
Be part of the latest thinking in spine care and start your educational journey with Module 1 on 10 September!
